This mission will help India to broad its footprints in space exploration. Chandrayaan-2 will be launched onboard the Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle Mk-III, or GSLV Mk-III, rocket.
Chandrayaan-2 is an advanced version of the previous Chandrayaan-1 mission, which was launched in 2008 and confirmed the presence of water molecules on Moon.
