Country Recognises Your ‘Cowardice’, Priyanka Gandhi Slams PM Modi On NRC
Priyanka said that other opposition parties in Uttar Pradesh are not speaking against the state government
Mumbai: Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra lashed out at PM Narendra Modi and said his government never discussed the nationwide National Citizen Register (NRC), Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi said on Saturday that the country was now able to recognize “cowardice.”
Gandhi, while addressing a public rally in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, said, “After talking about NRC, you said that it was never discussed. The country is now able to recognize your cowardice.”
A few days after the Congress leader’s remarks at a public rally by PM Modi, said that there has been no discussion on implementing the nationwide NRC.
“I want to tell the 130 crore people of India that ever since my government came to power in 2014 … Since then … there has been no discussion on NRC anywhere …” PM Modi said his Ramlila It was announced in the rally in the field on Sunday.
Priyanka said that other opposition parties in Uttar Pradesh are not speaking against the state government.
“But as I said, we are not afraid and have to keep raising voices even if we have to walk alone. We have to be ready to go to the next assembly election,” she said with confidence.
