Mumbai: Officials said on Saturday that in a recent report, more people tested positive for coronavirus in Maharashtra, taking the total number of such cases to 159 in the state.
Five of these six COVID-19 patients are from Mumbai and one from Nagpur, health department officials said.
On Friday, 28 people were found infected with coronavirus in different parts of the state, he said.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has said that the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in India has increased to 834.
There have been 19 coronavirus deaths in India so far.
