Mumbai: In a shocking incident a 43-year-old CRPF constable has been arrested for sexually harassing a woman at Calangute Beach in Goa.
Victim filed compalint against accused after which the constable was arrested from recruit training center in Madhya Pradesh.
“There was a complaint from a woman who is a native of Mumbai. She said that she was on Kalangut beach with her husband and children on Tuesday, when the accused came to her and abused her inappropriately and made obscene acts with her,” ANI quoted Polie inspector Jivba Dalvi sayin.
Meanwhile when victim’s husband questioned the accused the CRPF constable hit him. Her husband sustained injuries in the scuffle, he added.
_The case has been registered under relevant sections of IPC, whereas the ivestigation is underway.
