Mumbai : India V/S WestIndies second test match is all set play today, whereas at the day one of the match debutant pace baller Shardul Thakur has to leave the field after bowling 10th ball of his test carrer due to groin injury.
As per BCCI Shardul his participation on the rest matches will be depend on the medical reports, as the 26 year old player has gone for the scan.
“Shradul Thakur has gone for scans. He will not take the field today. An update on his participation on the rest test will be taken after looking the reports of the scans and after being assessed by the team management” BCCI states.
Shardul was replacing the fast baller Mohammmed Shami were he was rested after playing 6 Consecutive test match for India.
