Mumbai: Suresh Munaje, a 48-year-old businessman who ran a hotel in Dubai, was killed in his bungalow in Sahapur Taluka in Thane where he had been staying for a few days. The maid found him dead when she came to his residence.
The accused are still unidentified.
On Friday and Saturday night, some people were seen cutting the grills of his window. Allegedly, they tied the victim’s hands and legs, beat him and fled. The body had several injury marks, as informed by the police. The body was found by the maid when she came to do her chores and then she informed the police. The body was later on sent for post-mortem.
Nothing much has been investigated in the case. A case was registered under IPC section 302 and 460. The search is still on for the unidentified trespassers.
