E-Auction Of PM Modi’s Gifts: BJP Asks It’s Leaders To Participate

Mumbai: BJP had written to its state Presidents and other party leaders to participate in the E-auction held by the Minister of culture and tourism and National Gallery of Modern art as the fund collected from the auction will be given for Namami Gange is scheduled to go on till October 3.

“Continuing a practice I have always believed in! All those gifts and mementoes I have received in the last one year would be getting auctioned starting today till 3rd October. These mementoes would be on display at the NAGM near India Gate in Delhi. Do visit to have a look!”PM Modi tweeted on Saturday.

The auction was inaugurated by Union minister of state for culture and Tourism Prahlad Singh Patel in which a total of 2,772 mementoes gifted to prime minister Modi have been displayed.

Prahlad Patel said, “This auction is from September 14 to October 3rd.people can also bid on the products online. The. First, twenty highest buyers will receive a letter of appreciation from our PM”.

The auction includes a gifted item like wall painting, photography, crafts, shawls, statues, sculptures to name a few.

In February this year over 1,800 mementoes that PM Modi has received were sold.
