EC Sends Notice To Makers Of Film ‘PM Narendra Modi’

Mumbai: Film ‘PM Narendra Modi’ currently facing trouble from opposition party as recently Election Commission of India sent notice to four producers of the film.

This comes after some of the political leader registered complaint against the film.

The Congress Party and the Indian Communist Party have complained to the ECI about the film’s release, claiming that it is being done with political intentions.

Earlier, Congress delegation accused Vivek Oberoi starrer of opposing the Election Commission, saying that the ban on the release of the movie just before the Lok Sabha election was a violation of the Model Code of Conduct.

Meanwhile, the Election Commission sent a notice to two newspapers for publishing the posters of PM Narendra Modi’s film.

Directed by Omung Kumar film ‘PM Narendra Modi’ is slated to release on April 5, stars Vivek Oberoi in lead.

The film showcases Modi’s remarkable courage, wisdom, patience, dedication to his people, his acumen as a political strategist, his leadership that inspired a thousand social changes in Gujarat and later India. It traces his childhood in the 1950s to his meteoric rise in the corridors of politics, as a four-time serving Chief Minister.

The film culminates in Modi’s overcoming all the obstacles to create and lead one of the most fascinating and successful election campaigns in world politics in 2013-14.
