England Still In Tournament As They Beat India By 31 Runs, Pakistan’s Qualification Doubtful

On the other hand, teams like Pakistan and Bangladesh are fully dependent on men in blue today if they successfully defeat England there will be an outside chance to make a comeback in the tournament.

Winning the toss England decided to bat first looking at the pitch it will help to batsmen and there is nothing much for bowlers especially for spinners in the team.

Rohit Sharma took his time to hit the ball, whereas Virat Kohli continued his form and became the first captain to hit five consecutive 50s but again he failed to convert it into big score lost his wicket scoring 62 runs to Plunkett.

Meantime, it was another century by hitman Rohit Sharma who scored 102 runs and became 3rd Indian batsman to score 3 centuries in a World Cup. But again England bowlers were successful in taking wickets and dismissed Rohit.

It was a small cameo by debutante Rishabh Pant who scored 32 runs but unable to hit more runs for his side.

Hardik Pandya was looking good scored 45 runs but missed his half-century as Plunkett was successful to dismiss him.

Notably, Pandya missed his half-century for the third consecutive time.

It was a brilliant performance by England in the high-pressure game and defeated India by 31 runs.

Notably, this was the first defeat for team India in ICC World Cup 2019.
