How Is So Much Money Being Spent On IPL When People Aren’t Getting Hospitals: Andrew Tye

Mumbai: It seems the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) has been affected by the latest COVID19 surge in India. In addition, many are criticizing the BCCI for organizing a cash-rich league with COVID-19 in the midst of a dire situation in India.

India is currently witnessing more than 3 lakh cases in the last few days, even travel restrictions are being tightened for the country’s travellers abroad.

Andrew Tye has been one of the latest players to exit on Monday, with RCB also revealing that Adam Zampa and Kane Richardson will not be available for the remainder of IPL 2021. Tye stated that he was concerned about the safe passage back home and feared contracting the virus that has ravaged the country.
