“I Have Power To Face Person Like Him,” Rama Devi Over Azam Khan’s Sexiest Remark

Mumbai: Reacting over Azam Khan’s sexiest comments, BJP MP and Lok Sabha Deputy Speaker Rama Devi has said that she will never forgive Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Azam Khan.

According to the report, Khan has been asked to tender an apology for his remarks against the BJP MP or else face suspension from the House.

Speaking to a news channel, Devi said that SP leader was asked to apologize to me, speaker and several MPs, but he chose to walk out of the House. “His gesture indicates that he is not sorry and his heart is full of arrogance. The BJP leader said that if he was genuine he would apologize.

Apart from this, the Devi said that there is the power to face a person like him. “The chair I sit on is all of them. Not just me. He has used such language for all the women of the country. People in my parliamentary constituency have trusted me and I have chosen. I have the power to face a person like you [mine], “LS deputy speaker told ANI

Rama Devi slammed SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, who had supported Azam Khan, said, “There was no intent to spoil the chair.”

“Not only us, but they also said the same for the whole country … their language shows their ego and ego. He should not say such things, he was the first Chief Minister. He said all this to protect Azam Khan. Nobody will appreciate it … Lok Sabha is a reputable place. After being voted by a person, a person goes there, “said the BJP leader.

This comes after Triple Talaq Bill debate was underway in Lok Sabha, where speaker Rama Devi asked SP leader Azam Khan to speak meanwhile he made remarks that were perceived to be sexist by the treasury benches, triggering strong objections. The Rampur MP, in his defence, said Rama Devi was like a sister to him.
