India Progressed On Mantra Of ‘Reform, Perform, And Transform’ In Last 8 Yrs: PM Modi

Mumbai: The Prime Minister on Friday said that India moved forward on the mantra of Reform, Perform and Change, with a focus on policy stability, coordination and ease of doing business. This statement of PM Modi came during his address at the foundation stone laying ceremony of UP Investors Summit @ 3.0 in Lucknow today.

PM Modi said, “We recently completed 8 years of central governance. Over the years, we have progressed on the mantra of reform, performance, transformation, policy consistency, coordination and focus on ease of doing business. ”

The Prime Minister also congratulated the youth of Uttar Pradesh for investment agreements worth over Rs 80,000 crore, which were signed today.

“Today, investment agreements worth over Rs 80,000 crore have been signed here. This record investment will create thousands of employment opportunities. I congratulate the youth of UP for this as it will benefit them the most,” he said.

He said that Indians should be proud of India’s growth story.

“Every Indian will be proud of India’s growth story, according to which, we are the fastest growing economy among the G20 countries, the country with the second-largest number of Internet users and the second in the Global Retail Index,” he said.

The Prime Minister also said that India is the third-largest energy consumer country and has a registered record of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI).

“One Nation One Tax, One Nation One Grid, One Nation Mobility Card, One Nation One Ration Card are steps that set an example of our efforts for easier compliance and ease of doing business,” he said.
