Mumbai: According to Tuesday’s data from the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, new coronavirus cases in India continue to decline, as only 29,164 new infections have occurred in the country in the last 24 hours.
With this, the total cases in the country reached 88,74,291, including 4,53,401 active cases and 82,90,371 recoveries.
After 449 new deaths, the cumulative death figure stood at 1,30,519.

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 8,44,382 samples for COVID-19 were tested on 16 November, while a total of 12,65,42,907 samples have been tested so far.
