India Reports 51,667 COVID-19 Cases, 1,329 Deaths In Last 24 Hours

Overall Second Wave Of COVID19 Situation Stabilising In India: Health Ministry

Mumbai: According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India reported 51,667 COVID-19 cases and 1,329 deaths in the last 24 hours.

India’s death toll has surged to 3,93,310 with more people succumbing to the viral disease, while the total recoveries surged to 2,91,28,267.

The total COVID tally in the country is 3,01,34,445. According to the Ministry of Health, a total of 6,12,868 cases are currently active in the country.

Meanwhile, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) today informed that a total of 39,95,68,448 samples have been tested for COVID-19 till June 24. Of these, 17,35,781 samples were tested yesterday.

According to the Union Health Ministry, India’s cumulative COVID-19 vaccination coverage has crossed 30.72 crores as per a provisional report till 7 pm on Thursday.
