India Vs Bangladesh: Eden Gardens Will Host The First Day Night Test Match From Nov 22

Mumbai: A historic and much-awaited moment for cricket fans is up to come as it is confirmed that the 2nd test match between India and Bangladesh which will be on 22nd November at Eden Gardens, Kolkata will be first Day-Night test match hosted by India.

Many speculations were made that Bangladesh Players are unwilling to play day and night test match as they do not have any experience and the time for practicing is also not good enough but ending all these speculations BCB has confirmed through a video conference that Bangladesh is ready to play day and night test against India.

This comes after BCCI elected former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly as it’s president and he was in support of such format, reportedly last year when India toured Australia for test BCCI denied for the day-night test.

Sourav Ganguly in his first press conference as president of BCCI said that Virat has agreed for the concept of day and night test as it will regenerate test cricket in India. Most likely SG Pink ball will be used for the match but sources also say that Dukes ball could also be considered. Playing conditions and time of the match will be confirmed soon.

Well, it has also been reported that some top delegation will be invited like Bangladesh PM, PM Modi, and Mamata Banerjee as well.
