INDVsBAN: Indian Pacers Dominate First Session

Mumbai: First session of Day 1 between India and Bangladesh had a dominance of Indian fast bowlers because they were extracting a lot of swing and seam moments from the surface. Ishant, Umesh, Shami each got 1 wicket. At the end of the session, Bangladesh’s score is 63/3.

Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first. Bangladesh is happy to play with just 4 bowlers 2 spinners and 2 pacers. Virat Kohli said he is happy to bowl first as the pitch had grass and moisture on it. It took a while to get 1st wicket but at last, it was taken by Ishant and one comes the other, Umesh got rid, Imrul Kayes. Shami in his 2nd over got Mohammed Mithun who was not looking good from the start of innings. 2 catches were dropped. One from Ajinkya Rahane in the slip off Ashwin’s ball and 2nd by Virat Kohli off Umesh’s bowling.

Skipper Mominul Haque is showing an example for all Bangladeshi batsman hot to bat against quality fast bowlers. He is leaving the ball pretty comfortably as he is aware where his off stump is whereas other batsman was chasing the ball and were getting caught in the slips. Now he is joined by Mushfiqur Rahim who is one of Bangladesh’s key batsman.
