Intel Warns Of Pakistan Infiltration Via Sea Route, Coast Guard On High Alert

Mumbai: After intelligence reports suggested about the infiltration of the Pakistan trained commandos through Kutch, security has been beefed up at the Kandla port.

According to the reports, Pakistani commandos are likely to infiltrate Indian territory through the Kutch region via sea route for communal unrest or terrorist attack in Gujarat.

A statement from Adani Ports and SEZ said, “There were inputs from the Coast Guard station that Pakistan-trained commandos have entered the Gulf of Kutch through the Harmi Nala Creek area and are believed to be underwater attacks Are trained with.”

Therefore it is directed to prevent any untoward situation in Gujarat and to take extreme measures of safety. It is advised that all ships at Mundra Port make full security arrangements and keep a vigilant watch.

Adani Ports and Logistics has issued a security advisory to shipping agents in Mundra where it has informed them about the alert. “It is advised that all ships at Mundra port take utmost safety measures and keep a vigilant watch,” the consultant reads. According to the security advisor, the Mundra port maintains security-level warnings. It has also increased security measures on the coast.

Meanwhile, it is reported that terror attack may take place at places of worship and other vital installations in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. As a result, the police have increased security at places of worship, railway stations and other places where there are large numbers of people.
