“It was RSS who tried to make Sabrimala temple a war zone” : Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan

The court will hear the petitions on 13th November

Mumbai (Kerala) : After all the protest took place against Sabrimala temple in  Kerala, now the temple has been closed on Monday night .

Meanwhile Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan accused the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) for creating affray near the temple and making it a “war zone” in the past weeks.

CM said while addressing the media “I don’t think there was a law and order failure at Sabrimala temple”

“Kerala government made it clear in front of the Supreme Court that it will implement the Supreme court verdict. The government arranged all the facilities. Neither government nor the police tried to block the devotees . It was RSS who tried to  make Sabrimala temple a war zone” further he added.

Commenting on the attack which was made on various media person Vijayan said “ Protesters tried to check vehicles, attacked women devotees and media person. It was the first time in th history of Kerala that this type of attitude was shown towards the media”

Earlier women of 10-50 age were banned to enter the temple by its official who argued that the temple deity lord Ayyappa had taken vow of  self-denial. Meanwhile on 28th of September Supreme Court lifted the ban on the entry of women in the temple, citing the practice.

Whereas now supreme Court has agreed to hear the review petitions challenging its order to enter the woman inside the temple, the court will her the petitions on 13th November.
