Mumbai: China on Wednesday supported the bid for nominating Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar as the global terrorist in the United Nations Security Council for the first time.
In a major diplomatic victory, India’s Ambassador to the United Nations Syed Akbaruddin said, “Large, small, all are involved together.” Masood Azhar is nominated as a terrorist in the United Nations list.
Earlier on March for the fourth time China blocked a proposal by the US, the UK and France among others to designate Azhar as a global terrorist before the UNSC committee.
