Kamal Nath Asks Guv To Postpone Floor Test

Mumbai: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath on Monday asked Governor Lalji Tandon to postpone the floor test in the assembly, saying the atmosphere was not “favourable” for it.

He alleged that several Congress MLAs have been taken hostage and are being forced by the BJP to make a statement.

In the letter to Tandon, Nath said, “When I met you (Tandon) on 14 March, I made you aware of the fact that some of my MLAs are being held hostage by the BJP under the supervision of the Karnataka Police and have given Is being forced. ” Statement. Asked for the postponement of the floor test, Nath said, “The atmosphere is not conducive right now. Votes should be held only when all the MLAs are independent and not under any pressure.”

Charges were levelled against the BJP for allegedly taking at least eight Congress MLAs from Madhya Pradesh as hostages at Manesar in Gurugram and a luxury hotel in Bangalore.
