Karnataka To Reopen Temples, Mosques, And Churches After 31st May

Mumbai: Karnataka Chief Minister, B.S Yediyurappa announced the reopening of Temples, Mosques, and Churches in Karnataka from 1st June. 

“We have had discussions with the chief minister regarding the Muzrai department, during which it was decided to open temples from June 1,” Poojary, the minister for Hindu religious institutions and charitable endowments had said on Tuesday.

After the resumption of trains flights and other vehicles the demands for the reopening of religious deities have spurred.

All religious places have been shut down for two months for devotees in the wake of Covid-19. 

The plan to reopen the places will be accompanied by guidelines of strict preventive measures and necessary social distancing preparations that will be given out before June 1st.
