Karni Sena Chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi Shot Dead In Jaipur
Mumbai: Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena National President Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi has been shot dead by unidentified assailants in Rajasthan’s Jaipur. Police said that two more people were injured in the shooting. Gogamedi and his gunman were reportedly shot at his house.
Four persons allegedly broke into a house where Gogamedi was already present, according to the police. They quickly started shooting at him and fled, leaving him lying in a pool of blood. Gogamedi was rushed to a private hospital shortly after the incident, where he passed away from his wounds, Jaipur Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph informed PTI.
The two offenders seemed to be seated with Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, his bodyguard, and his accomplice. As can be seen in the news agency’s video, they suddenly opened fire on Gogamedi. At least three shots were fired at Gogamedi by one individual. He was one of two persons shot during the incident.
“As per initial reports, four people entered a house where Gogamedi was present and opened fire at him. One of Gogamedi’s security personnel and another person were injured in the firing,” Rajasthan Director General of Police (DGP) Umesh Mishra told PTI.
