Landlord Sexually Harasses Woman In Her Fiancé’s Absence In B’luru

Mumbai: A case was filed after a landlord allegedly sexually harassed a woman in Bengaluru, while her fiancé was absent. Reportedly, the crime took place when the woman’s fiancee had gone to Kerala for the preparations for her wedding, which was to take place within a few weeks. Also Read: Mumbai Man Kills Neighbour After Dispute Over ₹100, Arrested

Giving more details about the disturbing episode, the woman informed the police that it was on January 24 when her fiancee had gone to Kerala to make arrangements for her marriage. Also Read: 31-Yr-Old Man Molests, Tries To Rape 5-Yr-Old Girl In Pune; Held

According to the report published in the Times of India, during the course, the accused had sent text messages to the woman and demanded sexual favours from her after learning that the woman’s husband was not at home.

However, when the woman refused, he forcibly entered her house, hugged her and raped her. Moreover, after harassing her, he also kicked her in the stomach, pulled her hair and banged her head against the wall, as he rebuffed her movements.

The two left the landlord’s house after the disturbing incident. However, her harassment did not stop as the accused told their present landlord that the woman was a prostitute. Disturbed by such antics, the couple decided to file a complaint against the accused after which a case has been registered against him and further investigation is on in this regard.
