Latest Drone Visuals Show Flood Situation In Parts Of Delhi

Delhi: Latest drone visuals showing the flood situation at Delhi’s Red Fort, ITO, and Akshardham as the Yamuna river continues to overflow have surfaced online. At 10 am, Yamuna water level was recorded at 205.95 meters, which is still above the danger mark, ANI reported.

The Delhi government said that the Yamuna water is receding at a rate of 5 cm every hour, adding that, the flood situation is likely to improve by July 16.

As the water level of Yamuna retreats and key streets stay hindered, a few different regions have been seeing delays to ordinary traffic continuing on the streets across Delhi.

Including ITO, Akshardham has been lowered in water because of the flood. Drone visuals shared by the news organization ANI mirror what is happening from a few pieces of Delhi.

Three additional deaths were identified in the national capital as the result of severe waterlogging, with three youngsters drowning in the water pit of an under-construction golf course in southwest Delhi’s Dwarka Sector 23 on Saturday.

The nearby neighborhoods remain drowned as water from the overflowing Yamuna River reaches the Red Fort’s wall on Ring Road.

Several roads were closed owing to the flooding, and the Delhi Traffic Police has also issued advice. According to the alert, places like Khan Market, Andrews Ganj, Teen Murti Marg, and Express Building, among others, are still flooded.

Although, Delhi’s ITO remains flooded drone visuals show traffic moving slowly on the roads there.
