Maha CM Announces Ex-gratia Of Rs 5 Lakh Each To Families Of Deceased In Aurangabad Mishap
Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) on Friday announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5-5 lakh to the families of those killed in the Aurangabad train accident.
The CMO of Maharashtra said, “An ex-gratia amount of Rs five lakh has been announced to the families of the deceased in the Karamad (Aurangabad) train accident.”
On Friday, the Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of the South Central Railway (SCR) killed at least 16 migrant laborers and injured five others when a goods train ran between Jalaun and Aurangabad.
The injured have been sent to the civil hospital in Aurangabad. The accident occurred in the Nanded division of South Central Railway in the Karmad police station area of Aurangabad district in the early hours today.

According to railway officials, migrant laborers belong from Madhya Pradesh.
