Maharashtra Cabinet Approves 100 Crore For Bal Thackeray Memorial

Mumbai :Recently Maharashtra government has decided to build Shiv Sena Founder Bal Thackeray’s memorial in Mumbai.

The construction of the memorial will coast nearly 100 Crore which will be built at Dadar in Mumbai, where the last rites of iconic Shiv Sena leader were performed.

The meeting of the cabinet was held under the CM Devendra Fadnavis, where the decision took place.

“Relationship between BJP and Shiv Sena were always good and will remain so. There is a strong probability of forging an alliance as well,” Cabinet Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar said.

“Balasaheb Thackeray has always been a respectable and great leader. Hence the cabinet has decided to construct a grand memorial in his memory which will inspire youth,” Sudhir added.

Earlier in the day, PM Narendra Modi paid tribute on Balasaheb’s Jayanti, His oratory skills mesmerized lakhs of people.

“Remembering the courageous Balasaheb Thackeray on his Jayanti. Respected Balasaheb was unwavering in his commitment towards protecting the rights and wellbeing of people. He was bold and was blessed with a sharp intellect and wit. His oratory skills mesmerized lakhs of people,” Modi tweeted.
