Singh and Pooja strangle Vikram and hang his body on a fan to make it look like suicide. Vikram and Pooja also have an 8-year-old son.

Bhiwani Additional SP Bipin Kumar said that “Balwant Singh and the deceased were dating Vikram Singh’s wife and Vikram caught her. They hatched a conspiracy to kill Vikram after being stuck and now they’re arrested.”

Police said: “On the night of March 5, Vikram apprehended Balwant and Pooja and both killed her for fear of being caught. They hung Vikram’s body on a fan, making it look like a suicide. The next morning Puja removed Vikram’s body and started screaming, his family  took him to the hospital and doctors diagnosed him dead.”

The police who reached the spot took the body in their possession, but the bereaved family rushed to perform the last rites of the deceased. When the body was sent for post-mortem, strangulation marks were found on the body, which the police suspected.

Police detained Pooja on the basis of circumstantial evidence and after interrogation, Pooja confessed to her crime. The police have arrested the accused under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Both the accused will be produced before the magistrate in the next 24 hours.
