Man Molests 5-Yr-Old Girl In Pune, Threatens Her To Keep Quiet; Held

Mumbai: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Police arrested a 40-year-old man for allegedly molesting minor girls. The incident came to light when the mother of a victim lodged a complaint with police on Sunday.

The shocking crime came to light when the victim’s mother approached the police and informed them about the molestation and also lodged an FIR in the case at Nigdi police station on Sunday.

According to reports, the accused committed the heinous crime by touching the private parts of a 5-year-old minor girl while playing with her brother. The incident is on March 4 and after the incident, the accused allegedly threatened the girl and even asked her not to tell anyone about the incident.

According to the FIR, the arrested man had similarly molested another 6-year-old girl a week ago, according to the report published by the Indian Express.

Further, later the police were informed about the matter and they booked the accused under sections 354A and 506 of the IPC and sections of the Prevention of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act.
