Mumbai: In a horrific incident, a two-year-old construction worker’s daughter was first raped and then killed by an 18-year-old boy on Monday midnight.
The 18-year-old accused is also a construction worker who raped the child for about three hours after watching the porn clips.
On Tuesday around 4 am, the father of the minor girl went to the Sangvi police in order to lodge a missing complaint of his daughter who was missing since 1:45 am. The Sangvi police immediately came into action and started to trace the missing girl.
Prabhakar Shinde, senior inspector of the Sangvi police said, “ Later in the day, the girl’s body was found in a tank filled with water on open ground near the colony of the construction workers.”
After the police noticed a three-hour-long activity on the accused’s mobile, it made them suspicious. During the process of interrogation, he confessed to his crime said Shinde.
The suspect has been arrested under the sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act.
