“My Back Is Holding Up And Not Getting Worse,” MS Dhoni

Mumbai: MS Dhoni said that his back is holding up well and it’s not getting worse.

He cannot take any chances as the World Cup is coming ahead and it is very much important for him to play there well.

“The back is holding up and not getting worse, can’t afford that as the World Cup is ahead,” Dhoni said.

The CSK captain shared his viewpoints on the victory over the Sunrisers on Tuesday night as Watson the game changer took the game away by scoring a brilliant 96 runs knock.

“I think we need to give a little more time to players for back up. Watson has been a match winner for us and we needed to back him up. He has been batting well in the nets. It started off last year and the bowling has been good plus the batting needed to click together,” Dhoni said.

After winning the game, Shane Watson thanked both the skipper-Dhoni and the coach Flemmings.

“I was due runs that’s for sure. I can’t thank Stephen and Dhoni for having faith in me. In any other team, I may have been dropped out. Happy to repay the faith that was put on, I knew I was in good Nick just needed to get a few techniques and my head right,” Watson said.

With this victory, CSK stands once again at the top of the table.
