No Hanging Of Nirbhaya Convicts Tomorrow, Execution Delayed Till Further

Mumbai: In another’s development in the Nirbhaya Gang Rape case, Delhi Court again delayed the hanging of all four convicts here.

The four men- Vinay Sharma, Akshay Thakur, Pawan Kumar Gupta, and Mukesh Singh were supposed to be hanged to death on Saturday by hangman Pawan Jallad.

It has been reported that the stay of execution was sought on the ground that convicts haven’t exhausted all available legal remedies.

On January 17, a session court had issued warrants for their executions at 6 am on Feb 1.
