NZ’s Ajaz Patel Creates History, Takes All 10 Wickets In A Test Innings Against India

Mumbai: New Zealand spinner Ajaz Patel has created history by taking all 10 wickets in a Test inning. The 33-year-old took all 10 wickets against India in the second Test in Mumbai.

He achieved this feat against India in the ongoing second Test match at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Patel returned with figures of 10-119 and as a result, India was bowled out for 325 in the first innings.

As Ajaz took his tenth wicket, India’s Ravichandran Ashwin also stood up to give a standing ovation to the Kiwi spinner, a remarkable feat.

Prior to this, Australia’s Jim Laker was the first cricketer to take 10 wickets in a Test innings in 1956 and was followed by India’s Anil Kumble in 1999 against Pakistan.x
