Oppositions Are Rudderless And Have No Agenda Or issues: Javadekar Slams Opposition

Mumbai: Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar said on Saturday that the opposition has no particular agenda and is rudderless.

“They have not said a single good thing, nor given any good suggestions. Now they are blaming the government on points on which they earlier agreed. There is a complete bankruptcy of political opponents,” Javadekar said to ANI.

He said that Rahul Gandhi and Congress are raising issues which Communists won’t raise either. The opposition demanded buses for migrant workers when buses were given they started demanding trains. He slammed over Congress that they do not want to do anything. They just wait for the occasion to speak against the government.

Congress leaders had alleged on the government for acquiring corruption in Coronavirus test kits, discrimination in sending kits to states and managing the issue of migrant workers.

“As far as states are concerned, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been the Chief Minister of Gujarat. Therefore he values the independence of the states, and he means cooperative federalism too. Hit of every Chief Minister into confidence, and only one state has some problem,” said Javadekar on the issue of the state.

The Minister alleged that some people chose to start a war between West Bengal and India. And said that the government is not interested in any verbal duel. They are interested in solving the problem and want to help every state.

The union home ministry had sent serval Inter-Ministerial Central teams to visit West Bengal and other states for the assessment of virus hotspots. Controversy arose when the IMCT was blocked by the West Bengal State government for carrying out its duties.

Lockdown 3.0 in India has been extended for 2 weeks on Friday. Javadekar said that will be partially working from 4th May.
