Pakistan Bans Indian Cultural Programs In The Country

Mumbai: After the abrogation of article 370 has taken place Pakistan had openly opposed the act and claimed that India was taking illegal Unilateral actions. But when just the verbal opposition went nowhere Pakistan started putting a ban on the Indian things.

On Thursday special assistant to the Pakistani Prime minister on information and broadcasting, Firdous Ashiq Awan said to the Pakistani media that Pakistan has announced a ban on Indian movies in cinemas in the Country. She said, “the policy was drawn to ban all the Indian cultural content in the country.”

Later on a Thursday afternoon, the country had suspended the Samjhauta Express train that linked Pakistan to India.

These moves are considered to be in retaliation of the abrogation of article 370. According to Pakistan the Jammu and Kashmir was an international dispute and India has done the blunder of abrogating it. The Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan had also called a meeting on Wednesday to discuss this issue with the top government authorities of the country. The meeting was mainly focused on downgrading the diplomatic relations with India and put an end to the bilateral trade between both the countries.

Pakistan’s foreign minister Mehmood Qureshi has also said that they will call back their ambassadors from Delhi and send back India’s. Pakistan also announced that August 15th will be observed as a black day in Pakistan. In a press release in Pakistan, the prime minister had jotted down all the five points around which the Pakistani government was going to hold a discussion on Wednesday.

The Pakistan government is headstrong about taking the issue to the UN because according to Pakistan Prime Minister the area that India claims as theirs actually belongs to Pakistan.
