PM Modi Urges District Officials To Draw Plans To Implement Govt Schemes
PM Modi also conferred Awards for Excellence in Public Administration 2021 on Civil Services Day
Mumbai: On the occasion of ‘Civil Services Day, PM Narendra Modi urged district officials to draw action plans to implement government schemes on the ground. He asked civil servants to select any one scheme of the Central government and implement it in their districts.
PM Modi also conferred Awards for Excellence in Public Administration 2021 on Civil Services Day.
Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister said, “Can award winners share their stories in training institutes related to civil services? This will not only inspire others but will also give them practical experience.”
“The awardees should choose one of the government schemes today and draft a plan to implement it in their districts,” he said.
The Prime Minister highlighted that everyone has had the opportunity to learn from each other. PM Modi said, “We always get a chance to learn from each other. When you constantly try to learn from people, you will always find something new to adapt in your life.”
“As India celebrates 75 years of Independence, speak to former officers who served the district you are currently deployed in and take their counsel. In this way, you will not only honour their services but will also be able to take inspiration from them,” he said.
