PM Modi’s Way Is Clear As Mayawati and Pawar Are Not Contesting Loksabha Polls: Saamana
Mumbai: Two probable PM candidates NCP chief Sharad Pawar and BSP president Mayawati had decided not to contest Lok Sabha polls is a signal that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will retain his power again said Shiv Sena mouthpiece Saamana.
“Sharad Pawar not going to contest. Mayawati is not contesting. The two probable candidates for prime ministership is backing off simply shows the clout of NDA. Modi’s way to the Prime Minister’s post is a cake-walk and NDA victory is confirmed. This is a signal that emanates from Mayawati and Pawar backing off,” Saamana said in its editorial piece.
Sharad Pawar decided back -off because he did not want to take three members of the Pawar family to the field at the same time.
Meanwhile, Mayawati said that she is not contesting because she wants to run a nationwide campaign.
