Pulwama Attack: Priyanka Gandhi Cancels Press Conference, Holds 2 Minutes Slience
Mumbai: Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi canceled her scheduled press conference here and kept a two-minute silence for the CRPF jawans who were martyred in a terrorist attack in Kashmir.
“I don’t think it is appropriate to talk politics right now,” said Priyanka Gandhi, who was accompanied by Jyotiraditya Scidnia, the Congress general secretary in-charge for Uttar Pradesh West.
ANI News agency quoted Priyanka Gandhi saying, “I want to say that not only is the Congress party, but the whole country is standing side by side with the families of our brave unity, but we should also reflect and about the number of casualties in Kashmir. ”
A CRPF convoy carrying Jammu-Srinagar militants was attacked in the Avantipora area of Pulwama district this afternoon.
