Rahul Gandhi Accepts Congress’ Defeat In Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan And Chhattisgarh

Mumbai: Following a day in which the Congress suffered significant losses in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan, Rahul Gandhi “humbly” acknowledged the will of the people. “The ideological war will go on,” he wrote on X.

According to current trends, the voters of Telangana, where the state has passed the halfway point, were also praised by the previous president of the Congress. “We will definitely fulfil the promise of making Prajalu Telangana,” he added.

Several Congress leaders claim that Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra gave the Congress a boost in the newest state, which had been governed by the KCR-led BRS government since its founding in 2014.

In a jab at the Congress’s suggested “seven guarantees,” the BJP has attributed its massive victories in the Hindi heartland states to the “people’s faith in Modi’s guarantee.”

Thanking the electorate, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that the outcome showed India’s people have opted for the “politics of good governance and development”. Also Read: We Bow To ‘Janta Janardan’: PM As BJP Leads In Rajasthan, MP & Chhattisgarh

On Telangana, where his party is a distant third, PM Modi highlighted that the party has been gaining ground in the southern state and that it will keep working to build that further up.

The BJP has almost doubled its vote share in Telangana from the last elections – less than seven per cent in 2018 to nearly 14 per cent (so far) this year.
