Mumbai: Launching attack on opposition over its stand against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act BJP president and Home Minister Amit Shah accused Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi of misleading the minorities.
He also said that the Aam Aadmi Party and Congress were responsible for the ‘riots’.
Addressing a gathering in Delhi, Shah said, “The AAP and Congress, especially Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, are misleading the country’s minorities. No citizenship under CAA will be revoked. This citizenship There is an act for. These parties are responsible for the riots erupted, “he said.
Shah also lashed out at the Delhi government led by Arvind Kejriwal, accusing the chief minister of not allowing the central government’s schemes to be implemented in the national capital.
“The AAP government in Delhi has done the most harm to the poor of Delhi. Kejriwal Ji is not allowing Ayushman Bharat scheme to be implemented just for his political interests. People have now seen through you Kejriwal Ji, AAP was wiped out in MCD and Lok Sabha polls,” BJP chief Shah said.
Without mentioning any specific incident or protest, Shah also accused the Delhi Chief Minister of not approving the police to prosecute the students shouting anti-India slogans.
Shah said, “Should the students shouting anti-India slogans be put behind bars or not? But Kejriwal is not approving the police to prosecute them.”
He made these statements while addressing the ‘The Delhi CycleWalk’ inauguration event in Delhi.
