Rape Accused Sengar Shares Space with BJP Members In An Advertisement

Mumbai: Expelled BJP legislator Kuldeep Sengar’s picture was spotted on an Independence Day greeting advertisement that was printed on a local newspaper. Sengar was accused of raping a minor in Unnao in Uttar Pradesh. He was sound sharing the space on the advertisement with the PM Modi and the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Earlier this month Sengar was expelled from BJP, he was featured on the advertisement that was funded by the Panchayat Chairman of Ugoo area in Unnao. The ad was meant to wish the resident’s independence day and Raksha Bandhan.

“Kuldeep Singh is the MLA of our region and hence his picture is there. I have not mentioned any party in the advertisement. Till the time he is our MLA we will put his pictures,” Anuj Kumar Dikshit, who had commissioned the advertisement, said while defending his actions.

A week earlier, the Delhi court had charged Sengar in accordance to the Unnao rape case. It is also said that the death of the rape survivor’s father was somehow connected to sengar. Yet another case was registered when the survivor met with a truck accident. The accident is considered to be planned with Sengar’s direction.

The accused is now in Tihar jail of Delhi. Sengar was accused of raping the minor, 17 years old girl from Unnao who had come to seek a job at his residence.
