Mumbai: Rohit Sharma has grabbed the opportunity as a test opener for team India, making his test debut Sharma has broken man records.
In the first Test, he scored twin hundreds and in the third Test in Ranchi, he essayed a flamboyant maiden double century, registering his personal best score of 212.
In the meantime, while sarcastic the post-match presser that he was under pressure to perform as an opener in the longest format of the game, “I got a good chance to bat the order and so I make full use of it. Many other things must have happened, you guys could have written many things about me. But now, you will write good things about me, ”Sharma said in a media interaction after the match.

While Hitman Sharma continues to make a statement with the bat, he became the highest run-scorer in a single India vs South Africa Test series, scoring 529 runs. His heavy innings helped India reach 497-9 (declared) in the first innings.
Indian has already led the series by 2-0 and it is all set for whit wash, as South Africa has a long way to go and challenge India as they are in troubled waters now.
