‘RSS Is Far Away From Politics’: Mohan Bhagwat

Mumbai (New Delhi): In a three day conclave, “Future of Bharat: An RSS perspective”RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat stated that the Singh doesn’t tell their volunteers to work for particular party. But do advise them to back those working in the national interest.

On the second day of the conclave, the discussion held on distinguish between its functioning and the work of the BJP, which is seen to be ideologically affiliated to the organisation with many top leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Hence, while discussion, Bhagwat stated his vision referring to BJP. “We never ask swayamsevak (volunteer) to work for a particular party, we do ask them to back those working in national interest. RSS keeps away from politics but has views on issues of national interest,” Bhagwat said.

He further added that Sangh believes that centre of power should remain in the envision of Constitution and that is not wrong.

On the first day of the three-day conclave “Bhavishya Ka Bharat — An RSS Perspective” on Monday, Bhagwat said the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) does not seek domination and is indifferent to who comes to power.

He says that RSS Is the most Democratic but not Dictatorial.
