Mumbai: A major incident of vehicle-borne IED blast was averted by the Security forces in the Pulwama region of Jammu and Kashmir, said the J-K Police.
The incident could turn like Pulwama Attack if not seized by timely inputs.
The Pulwama Police received information about an explosives-laden car ready to explode. A Naka was set up by the joint forces to keep the checks on passing vehicles.
One of the cars with a fake number plate flung the barricades and was found abandoned around 200 meters ahead loaded with explosives.
“Jaish-e-Mohammed has the main role in this. Hizbul Mujahideen assisted them”, says Vijay Kumar Inspector General of Police, Kashmir in his statements.
The case is being handled to the National Investigation Agency in India.
A similar attack that shook India on 14th February 2019 killed 40 CRPF men in the Lethpora region of district Pulwama. The attack, majorly popularised by Pulwama Attack, had brought India and Pakistan towards violent face-offs
