Seven People Are Named In FIR Lodged By Delhi Police In Connection With Religious Gathering In Markaz, Nizamuddin

Mumbai: The Delhi Police has registered an FIR in relation to the religious gathering organized in the Markaz Nizamuddin case, with seven people responsible for the gathering and a system of people living on the premises.

According to ANI sources in Delhi Police, the FIR lodged was Maulana Saad, Drs. Zeeshan, Mufti Shehzad, M Saifi, Yunus, Mohammad Salman and Mohammad Ashraf are recorded.

The FIR has seven accused who were responsible for the gathering and said that visitors were allowed to remain in the premises despite the notice being issued on 24 March.

A huge religious gathering was held at the Markaz Bhawan in Nizamuddin from 13–15 March, the event made headlines after more than 24 people visited, which were positive tests for coronavirus.

Nizamuddin Markaz and its surrounding area were being cleaned by a team from the South Delhi Municipal Corporation, which was brought earlier by the people today.
