Shirdi Saibaba Temple To Shut From Today Amid COVID-19 Scare

Mumbai: In a view of Coronavirus outbreak Shirdi Saibaba Temple in Maharashtra will be closed for devotees from 3 pm today till further orders.

On the other hand, the doors of Mumbadevi Temple have been closed for devotees.

After several cases of coronavirus from Maharashtra, the administration has also closed the Shaniwar Wada Fort in Pune to the public.

So far 39 people in the state have tested positive for COVID-19.

Several major temples such as the Kasba Ganpati Temple in Pune, Dagdushre Srimanta Dagdusheth and Halwai Ganpati Temple have also closed in an attempt to prevent the outbreak of the virus.

The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Monday that a total of 126 positive cases of coronavirus have been reported in India so far.
