Shiv Sena Demands Burqa Ban After Sri Lanka Restricted Following Easter Terror Attack

Mumbai: Following the footsteps of the Sri Lankan government, the Shiv Sena has demanded a ban on Burqa after the fatal terrorist attack in the country, that the burqa should be banned in India too.

Shiv Sena has claimed that its ally, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) should follow Sri Lanka on this issue. It further said that this is not only triple copper but also a burqa, which should be banned in the country.

Attracting a commonality among the mythological myths, Shiv Sena said that if Sri Lanka and Ravana have imposed a ban, then why can not it be applied to a country like India, which is the land of Ram?

In addition to Shiv Sena, right-wing Fringe group Hindu army also wrote a letter to the Home Ministry, demanding a full ban on face cover, burqa and mask on public places and government and private institutions to prevent terrorist attacks like Sri Lanka.

“We urge you to immediately create policies on both strategic and strategic levels to prevent the occurrence of such attacks in India and Indian areas, including embassies and high commission, worldwide,” Hindu Sena wrote.

“Please ban full-face cover and dress like burqa and masks in all public places and government and private institutions. With such head cover, terrorists can hide their identity with CCTV cameras and other monitoring measures. Sri Lanka has already implemented this policy,’ it added.

After the Easter Sunday bomb blast, the Sri Lankan government banned the ban covering the burqa, mask or any kind of face across the country, in which more than 250 people were killed.
