Sonia Gandhi Raises Responsibility Of Uniting Opposition Parties Before May 23 Conclusion

Mumbai: The Lok Sabha elections are going on completely and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi has passed the resolution to bring opposition parties together.

It has been noted that Sonia Gandhi has reached almost all the opposition party leaders for a strategy meeting in New Delhi on 21, 22 and 23 May to investigate its availability. DMK has confirmed that he has received an invitation to Chief MK Stalin to stay in the national capital for the said dates.

Janata Dal (Secular) leader HD Deve Gowda has also confirmed that he will reach Delhi on 23rd May for a meeting with Sonia Gandhi.

As per reports to keep PM Narendra Modi-led BJP out of power, Sonia has come forward not only with allies but also other parties like BJD and TRS. It is believed that the UPA Chair was trying to convince the parties that the time has come for keeping petty politics aside.

The motive behind Sonia’s exercise is to get some understanding between the opposition parties before the results come on May 23, so that they will be in a position to get the first invitation to form a government from President Ram Nath Kovind to get the mandate. It gets fractured.
