Tamil Nadu Confirms 536 New COVID-19 Cases, State Count At 11,760
Mumbai: According to the state’s health department, Tamil Nadu reported 536 new cases of coronovirus on Monday, with a total of 11,760 cases in the state.
Of the newly reported cases in the state, 46 people have recently returned from Maharashtra. A total of 11,760 positive cases in the state comprise 7,270 active cases.
The death toll of COVID-19 rose to 81 after three people died due to infection on Monday.
So far, 4,406 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from hospitals.
There are a total of 61 working COVID-19 testing facilities comprising 39 government and 22 private labs.
There are currently 56,316 active cases in India. So far, a total of 36,824 people have recovered from COVID-19. In the last 24 hours, a total of 2,715 patients have been cured. We currently have a recovery rate of 38.29 per cent.
