Task Force Formed To Monitor Coronavirus Situation In Delhi: CM Kejriwal

The task force will be headed by the Chief Minister

Mumbai: Following the outbreak of coronaviruses in India, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday said that a state-level task force has been constituted to deal with the coronavirus situation in the national capital, comprising all concerned agencies and corporations.

The task force will be headed by the Chief Minister.

Kejriwal said in a press conference, “A state-level task force has been formed, which will be headed by me. All the concerned agencies and corporations are part of it. All the important departments are also included.”

He said, “There has been a meeting where they were asked to deal with the situation at the emergency level.

Because this virus spreads so fast that if it breaks it will be really difficult for us to control the situation, ” They said.

He also informed about the status of a single confirmed case in the national capital. “So far there is a confirmed case in Delhi which is admitted in Safdarjung Hospital. He came from Vienna. We are reaching 88 people who came. He was contacted after coming to Delhi,” he said.

Talking about preparations against the virus, Kejriwal said, “All the people coming from abroad are being legally scanned. And if any symptoms are found, then that passenger is transferred to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital Is done. There are 1,16,589 passengers so far. Displayed at the airport. ”

Commenting on the worldwide lack of protective masks, he said, “We have enough N-95 masks. Efforts are being made to make people aware. We have also asked the Ministry of Education to bring awareness among school children.”

The Chief Minister further said that he would not celebrate Hoil in view of Delhi violence and spread of Coronavirus.

“I will not celebrate Hoil in view of the spread of Delhi violence and coronaviruses. I will ask the people of Delhi to refrain from going to a big gathering. And I will ask all my ministers to do the same,” he added.
