Terror Attacks Possible In South India: Army

Mumbai: On Monday the Army said that they have got inputs on a possible terror attack in South India as they have found some abandoned boats were found recovered from Sir Creek.

Lt Gen S K Saini, GOC-in-C, Army Southern Command said, “We’ve inputs that there may be a terrorist attack in the southern part of India. Some abandoned boats have been recovered from Sir Creek. We’re taking precautions to ensure that designs of inimical elements & terrorists are stalled.”

After listening to the Army’s the Kerala Police Chief asked the police to maintain tight security in the busy public areas like the railway station, bus stands and airports. It is reported that the police will be on a high alert in the areas that are mostly crowded and during the Onam celebrations on Wednesday.

It is also reported that the Lashkar-e-Taliban has infiltered into Tamil Nadu and the security in the state has been tightened. Moreover, people dressed in terror outfit has entered the state from Sri Lanka and dispersed into many cities of the state.
